Now that cowboys have emerged as the hot subculture du jour, marketers are jumping all over it. ("Ballad of High Noon" ring tone, anyone?) But the most appropriate use of the cowboy motif as far as we’re concerned is on gifts for little boys.
Check out this handmade buckaroo baby blanket from eLisaLou. Designer Elisa Kennemer’s art school background is evident in her hip sensibility; but her insistence on backing the fabric with the softest cotton chenille is pure mom.
If for some reason cowboys aren’t your thing–like you’re a communist– check out their sixteen other fabrics. The Jetson-esque retro rocket blanket is another fantastic alternative to the same old trucks and Noah’s ark animals –Liz
Not a communist here! LOL! Love it!

I love the motif of the cowboys. I have a son myself and will check it out.
