I’ve always found something really homey about employing the fridge as a magnetic board for family photos and postcards. But with the ridiculous assortment of magnets we end up accumulating it ends up looking less like a gallery and more like a bulletin board in the college dorm. So I really like the magnetic photo rope from Photojojo. The teeny magnets–teeny enough that you should consider whether your kids are old enough not to eat them–keep eight photos or your favorite holiday cards snug against the fridge, and a weighted bottom keeps it from swinging around every time you sneak to the fridge at night to "even out" the remaining cheesecake in there. I figure with the amount of time I spend at the refrigerator door, I might as well like what I see outside of it too. –Liz
