After spending much of each day feeding this hungry new baby of mine, sometimes I forget to feed myself. Yes, I know new mamas need to take care of themselves too, but there aren’t many three-course meals to be prepared one-handed.

To keep from wasting away completely (not likely), I’ve really enjoyed keeping Oh Mama! bars close at hand. They may not be a good substitute for a full meal, but they’re far preferable to a candy bar where it comes to snacking, especially with vitamins, minerals, and DHA hidden inside. Okay, so the packaging is a little cutesie, but it’s not like I’m about to pull one out on a job interview. 

Forget about cooking. I’m using that other free hand to dial up for take-out. –Julie
