Let's Panic About Babies! by Alice Bradley and Eden Marriott KennedyThe funniest thing I’ve seen in a good long time is the satirical new website, Let’s Panic About Babies! which just launched today. Think of it as a cross between What to Expect When You’re Expecting and The Onion. It might even be funnier than the Onion. It might even be funnier  than What to Expect, which was pretty darn funny. (And you know what I’m talking about if you read that passage that cautions you against receiving oral sex when pregnant because it could cause an embolism.)

Let’s Panic! hails from the hilarious if twisted minds of popular bloggers Alice Bradley of Finslippy and Eden Marriott Kennedy of Fussy who clearly had a great time riffing on our every anxiety, insecurity, and stupid new mom question asked anonymously on a message board.

Moms and moms-to-be in sudden and desperate need of laughter will get a kick reading the irreverent quizzes (Weird Old Wives Tales – true or false? ), and articles like how to break the news to your family (“I allowed a man to put his penis in my vagina.”) Even the “ads” will have you laughing until you pee – provided you have that forementioned hilarious if twisted sense of humor. In other words, click over, but promise to keep your fingers off the site’s contact form.

Hey publishers? This needs to be a book. Maybe a TLC reality series. Definitely a Japanese game show. But at minimum, it should be required reading in every L&D ward. –Liz
