Blue peacock art print - Linda Solovic Collage PrintsThere’s really no right way to decorate a baby nursery, but a great tip I swear by is starting with a fabulous piece of art or set of prints as an inspiration–as opposed to something like crib bedding, which babies outgrow super fast. (Or in my house, never actually use.)

You can definitely get some longevity out of your room with artwork like these cheery, unique prints from collage artist and past CMP pick Linda Solovic.

They’re rather affordable as far as artwork goes, and the infusion of various color palates make it a cinch to find (or make) matching baby essentials. Plus, you’re not limited to the standard pink for girls, blue for boys, and green or yellow for those of us who like to keep secrets. Personally, I’d pick the Peacock in a Pear Tree print, which would be lovely in a blue-inspired girl’s room, but I love the endless possibilities with this very different Under the Sea fish print.

And really, if you or your kiddo need a little change, you could switch them over to a hall, playroom, even an office and no one will know they were ever nursery art.  -Kristen
