Dwell Studio baby bedding from TargetLooks like it’s the time of year for another cool line at Target to make me –a Canadian– feel a little jealous. This time, it’s the DwellStudio for Target Fall 2010 collection – a whole bunch of gorgeous baby layette items that I’m already drooling over.

In keeping with the bold and colorful DwellStudio prints and patterns we’ve all come to love, these new designs are fun and, of course, beautiful. And they’re affordable enough that you’ll be able to outfit your newborn in the snazziest of clothes with change to spare for a sweet blanket or two.

Cool Mom Picks Pick of the Year 2010I love the adorable Kimono Bodysuits and the Wearable Blankets,
which come in pretty pinks and purples and also in brighter blues and
oranges. They’re rather standard boy/girl delineations — which sometimes
drives me nuts as a mama who doesn’t like to find out a baby’s sex
beforehand and who also doesn’t like to adhere to the pink-is-for-girls
mentality, anyway — but they’re super-cute, so I’ll forgive them.

What I’m really ogling , though, in spite of the fact that I’ve never even used a crib for my babies, are the precious baby bedding collections. Just look at the tulip-themed bedding and the space-themed bedding. I’m melting from the cuteness!

Guess now I just have to wait to see if I’m having a baby who
likes tulips or space. Oh, and I have to take a trip across the border to the US,
of course. –Stephanie
