ThredUP MilitaryThis Veteran’s Day, we’d like to not only remember the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, but also that little boy over there who is riding his bike with grape jelly on his shirt. And there is his sister, hula-hooping in the front yard.

Right now there are thousands of military families stationed all over the globe, many with young, growing-like-a-weed children. I can only imagine how difficult clothes shopping is from foreign bases, with selections that probably don’t mirror what I get in my local mall.

So, we are thrilled that one of our favorite clothing-swap sites is making it much, much easier for military families to get their hands on stylish kids’ clothing. And even we civilians can help out.

As of today, all U.S. military families stationed overseas can join thredUP and swap boxes of kids’ clothing with other thredUP members in the U.S.

Like any other thredUP member, military families will pay only $5 plus shipping for any boxes they request, no matter where they’re based, and pay nothing to send out boxes of their own hand-me-downs to other thredUP families. And while global shipping can be a fortune, thredUP has integrated with the USPS to use flat-rate boxes (priced at around ten bucks) for easy exchanges to and from any APO/IPO address in the world.

As an extra thank you for the sacrifices and unique challenges military families face, thredUP will also award military members one bonus pick each month, plus 33% off the cost of a PRO Membership.

Military Families can now sign up to swap clothing on thredUP no matter where their military base is located. For those thredUP members who are not in the military, we can donate one of our free thredUP “picks” to a military family. Find all the details here at thredUP.
