My daughter has signed on to the idea of Christmas early. Not “early” like prodigy-early; I mean early like she discovered a teensy faux Christmas tree in our garage this summer and has been diligently decorating it for the past three months with last year’s kid-safe ornaments, pieces of colored paper, and–my favorite–her baby brother’s socks.
So I am kid-on-Christmas-Eve excited about this awesome new find that gives new meaning to the term “family tree.”

Amy–the talent behind the operation–creates drawings based on your own family photos and submits them to you for approval. After you give the okay, she gets to work making your custom ornaments from soft eco-friendly felt and poly-fil. She puts two small jingle bells on the inside, stitches the year on the outside, and attaches a red ribbon for hanging.
At $19.50 each, they’re totally affordable (unless you’re the cast of 19 Kids & Counting) and are incredibly “aww!”-worthy gifts.
From stem to stern, the process takes about about two weeks so order early to make sure your ornaments are on the tree in plenty of time. I know I can’t wait to see these nestled into our tree this year–right next to the blue baby socks. –Lexi
