Small Threads teesEven with two older sisters who keep him well in touch with his feminine side, it didn’t take long before my son had decided pink was a “girl” color and that his sweet puppy tees should be traded for race cars and dinosaurs. But he still loves Valentine’s Day for all the candy and cards he gets, so I have been thinking about getting him a shirt to go along with the occasion.

Check out the cool boy tees we found—they’d look sweet on any boy this Valentine’s Day, but not too sweet.

Who’s your favorite girl? I’m pretty sure he’d say “Mom”, and I know he’d melt my heart in this tattoo-inspired I Heart Mom tee from San Francisco’s Small Threads. I also can’t help but smile over their super-cute I Heart Me skivvies. My challenge would be keeping my son from showing them to the world.
Chic Couture Boutique heart tie
Getting a real tie on my son’s neck would be a trick, but I think he’d get a kick out of this faux version from Chic Couture Boutique in onesies and tees. Little guys can get away with the cute heart prints but for  bigger kids, the red-with-white polka dots would be on-theme for the day.
Love Train Tee
This Love Train tee from 2mylu (currently out of stock, but click through for other cute Valentine’s tees) doesn’t spew smoke but clouds of red hearts; hey, it is organic after all. Printed on a super-soft vintage-feel tee, the hand-pressed design continues onto the back for a message whether he’s coming or going. –Christina
