Some women are shoe shoe addicts. Not me. My vice is bags. I’ve got a closet full of hobos, totes, clutches and now diaper bags. Storage space is tight these days, so I’ve had to limit myself to just browsing designer handbags on the web. But a new site is really, really making me want to pull the trigger. Despite its name.

Okay, before you stop reading, I promise you Bags Bonanza does not
sell pleather purses with plastic daisies affixed to the zipper–but rather lusty confections from Chloe, Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch.
The
site (I can hardly even say the name again) is an online resale marketplace, a la
eBay, so it’s perfect for people like me who hate paying retail and
don’t mind their merch being pre-worn (or pre-loved, as I like to call
it).
Bags Bonanza–there, I said it–lets you really refine your
search. You can choose the brand, color, condition, style and price.
They have over 30,000 bags in the inventory. Looks like I’ve got my

When I read your post I had to giggle at the name too. And then I thought to myself, I bet it was a guy who made up that name. Well, I checked their about page, and guess what – all dudes! That explains it.

The name makes me think of those local-type commercials where they’re selling furniture or mattresses or something and the sales guy shouts at you: “It’s a BONANZA! We’ve got CRRRRAAAAZZZY prices and EVERYTHING! MUST! GO!”
