For those of you addicted to summer flip-flops, but who want something that’s a step up in the style department from thick rubber beach-ready thongs, I have just found the sweetest option.
The Brazilian-made TKees are promoted as “cosmetics for your feet,” which…okay. Gimmick. But a gimmick that works. I fell instantly in love with the “Foundations” line of flip-flops, which offer sleek, stylish leather flip-flops in 5 skin-tone shades. I think the palest shade, Seashell, is a great neutral alternative to white no matter what your own skin tone, but I ended up grabbing the slightly darker Coco Butter for myself.
If you’re not big on browns, there are dozens of options, from “Highlighter” metallics, to pink-toned “Blushes.” If they’re all as comfortable as the pair I wore around my neighborhood this weekend, you’re going to be very happy.
