Park and Bond - Men's shopping from Gilt GroupeThe day my husband and I got engaged is the day he stopped clothes shopping for himself. Partly upon my request. It’s now up to me to pick out everything from his sleeping t-shirts to his ties. Seeing as how I’m not a big fan of department store shopping for myself, I’m even less into venturing out to the retail world for men’s clothing. Now, thanks to those fashion-savvy geniuses at Gilt Groupe, I can order up my man the coolest threads without leaving my comfy couch.

Park & Bond,
which refers to two very stylish streets in Manhattan (which actually don’t intersect), fluidly combines
the look and feel of a men’s fashion magazine with user-friendly
e-commerce. You can shop from dozens of top men’s brands, including Marc Jacobs, J. Crew, John Varvatos and Thom Browne. There are also shoes and accessories from Timberland, New Balance, Converse, G-Shock and Ray-Ban.

And if you want your guy to look like he stepped off the pages of GQ, check out their, well, GQ Selects section, where you can literally shop the pages of the men’s fashion bible.

Other cool features on Park & Bond include a personal shopping concierge, editorial stories like “20 things you need to know about dress shirts,” and “how to care for your footwear.” Which, truth be told, I’d be the one reading, not my husband.

For
me, jeans shopping with my husband wins the prize for most tedious of
all shopping tasks. I can’t wait to order up some pairs from their awesome denim section
(they offer everything from Seven to Levi’s) have him try them on at
his leisure then return the discards. With their free return shipping
policy, I may never sweat it out in another men’s dressing room again. -Melissa
