My 8 month-old is going through the slobber-filled teething stage. That means a lot of wiping his drooly chin and giving him plenty of teething toys to alleviate some of the pain. One thing that I find incredibly frustrating is when he drops those teethers on the dirty sidewalk or restaurant floor and wondering how to clean them.

Yes, I know that the more kids you have, the more you’re probably comfortable just wiping it off on your jeans. But for those of you clean freaks (like me), allow me to present the food grade wipes from Dapple.

All of the cleaning products from Dapple use natural-based ingredients that are also eco-friendly and free of nasties like phthalates, parabens, synthetic dyes and fragrances. In addition to their natural dish soap which we already love, they’re now making wonderful SurfaceWipes for Highchairs, Toys & More.

In the past, I’ve used regular baby wipes to clean off dirty toys, but I’ve always wondered just how clean they get things. The flip side is I don’t want to use anything too harsh…especially for things that go in his mouth. Dapple worked with a team of pediatricians to create
products strong enough to clean surfaces well without antibacterial agents, so you won’t have to worry about what weird chemicals your kiddies might be swallowing — and the kids can still build up natural immunity to germs. Dapple wipes work just like good old fashioned soap and water — only when there’s no soap and water in sight.

My munchkin is going to have to get used to sharing, as I fully plan on using the pacifier wipes for my three year old’s dropped sippy cups and lollipops too.
