Red baby gear: Bloom Coco Rosso baby loungerOther than wearing hearts on their clothing and looking at us with love in their eyes, our babies are still a little young to be celebrating Valentine’s Day with lollipops or big messy chocolate hearts. But since we love red all the time, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite red baby gear, that will look bright, fresh and modern all year long–more than I can say for those roses.

We are in love with the contemporary shape of Bloom’s new Coco Rosso lounger. No noisy bells or batteries required, this simple self-rocker lets our babies gaze at the world around them. And since babies tend to get messy, I appreciate the easy-care of the soft micro-suede-and-leather pad. The cost for such sleek simplicity? Definitely up there. This one’s for fans of gorgeous modern design for every room of the house, and are willing to pay for it.

Red baby gear: Cybex Onyx umbrella stroller

If you’re out and about with the baby a lot, we’re fans of the Cybex Onyx umbrella stroller for its tight-corner maneuverability, and extra-cool features like a generous sun shade, handy carrying strap when you don’t need to stroll, and easy-to-adjust straps. And such a zippy little stroller comes with a good brake, of course.

Phil and Ted's Lobster Seat portable high chair
Though I’m no germaphobe, I do love how easy Phil & Ted’s Lobster Seat makes it for me to avoid those communal high chairs while still supporting my sitting-up baby when we attempt to have a meal out. Another plus? No need to feel sheepish around the waitstaff if your babe decides to finger paint his food all over the tray.
Red baby gear: Peapod pop-open travel bed
No one wants to mess with a toddler’s nap, but who wants to be stuck inside on a gorgeous day just to accommodate it? I really love the looks of Peapod’s pop-open travel bed which has enough coverage to block sunlight but also lets in plenty of fresh air too. It would easy enough to bring to the beach, the park, or just set up in the backyard while older siblings play on the swings.
Red baby gear: Bugaboo Donkey double stroller
We gushed when the Bugaboo Donkey came out last year, and our love remains strong for this ultra-flexible convertible stroller that’s meant to grow with your family. For those of us with little ones close in age, you can’t beat how easy it is to change configurations, and we really love that it can be made into a single stroller for those times when we only have one riding child. Yes, it is super spendy, but at least it lives up to the hype unlike a lot of high-end baby gear we’ve seen.
Orbit Baby Bassinet Cradle
On its own, Orbit’s Baby Bassinet Cradle G2 is a great rocking bassinet for babies, but also converts to a moses basket to carry from room to room. If you are super lucky and have Orbit’s Stroller Frame, you can also snap this bassinet right into the frame and keep your sleeping baby, well, sleeping.

Congratulations to Jillian E!  She and her little one will be bouncing with joy, thanks to the Coco Rosso lounger she won from Bloom!
