Blooming BathBath time in our house is no easy feat. There’s a lot of wriggling and crying–from both baby and parents. I think partly it has to do with the fact that our plastic bathtub is not the comfiest of landing spots for little tushies. To remedy that, I’ve found really interesting new option.

The plush, flower-shaped bath seat insert from Blooming Bath
is like nothing I’ve ever seen. It provides a soft, safe place for babies to rest their little bottoms
during cleaning time–easier than bathing a newborn in a plastic bathtub
that’s five times bigger than her body. The Blooming Bath also keeps her in one spot kind of by swaddling them with its petals.

I
have to say I was a little wary of it when I first used it, since the idea of
wrapping my son in a gigantic sunflower just seemed a little odd. But
when I plopped him into the flower it magically (or scientifically, thanks to a combo of
antimicrobial foam and tricot mesh) kept him propped up and comfy.

The Blooming Bath is also
super-easy to clean. You just hang it from a bathroom hook to drip-dry, or toss it in the dryer. When my little guy has outgrown it, which will be soon,
he can use it as a soft seat on our hardwood floor. -Melissa
