I think one of my biggest surprises as a new mom was that the baby was a lot easier to take care of when she was still in my big, bodacious belly. (Ha.) Well, here’s a baby carrier that’s the next best thing.

The only caveat? Wrap carriers, in my experience, have a shelf life of three months. After that, baby doubles in weight, mom needs more structure and breathing room, and a wrap carrier like this starts to pull on the shoulders and get sweaty for both parties. How is it any different from a Moby wrap?
The difference between Mobys and Lulu Wraps is all in the fabric. Lulu Wraps have quite a range in fabric types (from cotton-spandex to rayon blends) and a color selection that changes seasonally, following fashion trends.
Carrie, I had a Moby with my firstborn and sold it after using it just a few times since it felt too wide and heavy. The Lulu Wrap is more narrow and light. The Rust fabric was especially soft, and I think the colors are much nicer than Moby. It’s not a huge difference, but it’s nice to have alternatives. =)
