Going on vacation is top on my list of things I love to do. At the bottom of that list has to be schlepping things–like car seats–from my house to the airport. I just discovered a contraption that makes that schlepping at least a little bit easier.

The new Roll ‘n Go Car Seat Transporter from Brica takes the grunt work out of getting your front-facing car seat (or convertible car seat) through the airport and to the airplane. The Transporter is basically a lightweight hand truck that allows you to easily attach your car seat and push it wherever you want to go.

The assembly is a cinch–actually there is no real assembly for this thing. You just pop out the wheels with the touch of a button, pull up the handle and place the car seat on top of the wedge. Straps with a secure locking system attach through the seat belt path. And when you finally get on board, the Transporter fits nicely in the overhead bin.

Now if only getting through airport security were such a breeze.
