Milk Nursingwear breastfeeding dressThe one summer wardrobe staple I missed wearing when I was breastfeeding was a simple, easy dress. (Yeah, not too many of us are willing to lift an entire dress over our heads in public.) But these days, there are so many cool options for nursing moms, like the new collection from CMP fave Milk Nursingwear. And even better, these dresses won’t break your budget.

I’m partial to the smocked waist nursing dress, which can be dressed up or down, easily taking right through summer and into fall. I really like how the crisscross neck allows you to nurse easily, but then snaps back to being fairly taut, so the nursing holes aren’t showing through.
While the empire waist is super flattering, it’s definitely on the high side, so if you’re a buxom nursing mama, this might not be the best option–the shirred waist will end up on your breast line. A better option for you might be the new tiered ruffle nursing dress, which looks simply gorgeous. In fact, I still can’t believe it’s a nursing dress.

Though I guess that’s the point, right? -Kristen

You can order the smocked waist dress at Milk Nursingwear. And pssst, the halter dress we featured last year is down to $14.99!
