Indian Summer

With summer here, we are seeing a lot of bright colors, fun patterns and soft textures in baby and children’s clothes. Perfect–because even kids dressed like little fashion models want to be comfortable.

One awesome shop that has stylish options for your children is Masala Baby. They’ve grown a lot since Cool Mom Picks first found them a few years ago!

Their current line caters to ages 3 months to 10 years which is great for those hard-to-shop-for tweens. And now they’ve expanded to dresses, tunics, skirts, and hoodies, and while they’re stronger for girls, they have more wearable options for boys than before, from tees to shorts.

All the fabrics are exclusively sourced from India and all handcrafted, but the East meets West styling makes for cool kids’ clothes your little ones will love to wear, no matter which hemisphere they call home.

Masala Baby is fairly reasonable for handcrafted clothes of this quality. The tutu dress above is on the higher end at $62, with the two-piece baby sets (shown at very top) in the $40 range. The mumbai collection has shorts and flowy tees starting at just $15.
