Whether or not my kids will one day stand on the podium of some future Olympics is not yet determined—-have they started a category for intense video gaming or speed LEGO building? For now, though, I love these shirts that let them profess their love and support for the games, no matter what their age. –

Celebrate the games of the past with the great-looking
Vintage Olympics Tees
from The Gap including1976 Montreal, 1980 Lake Placid. and even 1924
Paris. I love the irony of my kids wearing a shirt from 1980 which they
will think is a relic from the long-ago past. (In toddler, kid, and
adult sizes)
Everyone gets the gold with Oh Baby London’s Little Winner Olympic Tee. Love the simple design imprinted on super-soft cotton. I’m sure this would become my kids’ favorite “gold-medal day” shirt long after the Olympics have gone. (newborn to size 6y, ships from London)
If the kids are Team USA all the way, dress them in the official outfitter of the U.S. Olympic team,
Ralph Lauren (as if you couldn’t tell from the big honkin’ logo and all the controversy) who makes all kinds of preppywear in red, white and blue. The
Create Your Own Olympics Line lets you include your child’s name which would make a pretty cool keepsake. Unfortunately it’s found under the “boys” section, but that wouldn’t stop my two girls from wanting them.
I also like the very cool Ralph Lauren London pieces like this simple and comfy tee-shirt dress. (from toddler size 2 to girls 16)
Of course you can always check out the official Team USA shop for classic designs too. Happy shopping. And go USA!
Oh wow, I was born in 1980 and I have a photo of me wearing an original 1980 Lake Placid shirt!! This is so funny. I wish my parents still had it.
