Sock it to ‘em: colorful feet are happy feet

I am a sucker for bright, colorful socks, and so is my kid. We’re all for feet having more fun (not to mention that having fun socks to look forward to each day seems to magically get us out the door faster).

It seems to be going around because lately, everyone at Cool Mom Picks has been on the lookout for bold and funky socks for kids–like faves from Luna leggings and Ninja socks. Our latest find? These super sweet, style-savvy pairs imported from Sweden. Our Scandinavian friends have a knack for patterns with panache, and these socks are just about the happiest socks around.

Happy Socks for kids

The aptly named Happy Socks are knitted out of soft, high-quality combed cotton we can’t resist. These socks also feature reinforced toes and heels that can handle anything your kids can dish out. I’ve been incredibly impressed with how well they hold up.

The company’s creative director is a former graphic designer and illustrator with a personal motto “all play and no work”–heard loud and clear in the playfulness of each sock pattern. Plus, adults can buy them in their sizes too. And in my book, any man who can rock a sock as bold as this? That’s hot stuff. -Stephanie M.

Just today I found a line of these designed for Target and picked up some pairs of cute knee socks for my daughters.

    Sally from Little Hiccups

My husband and I have been wearing Happy Socks for quite some time now so I was super excited when I discovered matching ones for our kids about 6 months ago. But then they disappeared from their line :( And now they’re back :) Yay!
I must admit though, with the whole family wearing matching bright stripy socks it does make sorting the washing a little confusing ;)
