Black and white stripes for spring: loving this trend!

Kate Spade Saturday Weekender BagIt’s a good thing we’ve loved seeing stripes all winter, because this trend is showing no signs of going away for spring. It’s all over our kids’ clothes in a rainbow of colors, but for us, we’re especially digging it in clean, striking black and white.

From handbags to dresses to sandals, check out some of our favorite stripey picks and let us know what you love too.

Grab Kate Spade’s Small Weekender Bag from her new Saturday collection before everyone else through this special Fab.com preview sale ending tomorrow (use our invitation link if you’re not already a Fab member!) I love the bag’s curved shape and dirt-hiding black bottom and straps. Don’t worry if you miss this sale, though: The entire line will officially launch in the U.S. in March. ($160)

Old Navy Maternity Dress

Old Navy’s Maternity Striped Maxi-Tank Dress will be so comfy this spring for mamas-to-be, with a cardigan over the shoulders. When the mercury rises, toss off the sweater, throw on some comfy sandals and feel fabulous. (on sale for $30)

Alice + Olivia Sandals

Flat sandals by Alice + Olivia get really interesting with bold black-and-white stripes. Makes us long for bare-feet weather, when these would pair so nicely with a simple, cool sundress, cropped jeans, or a solid mini. ($195)

Rebecca Minkoff tote

This Rebecca Minkoff Tote is big enough to hold some kid-essentials for a day at the park, but also stylish enough for a child-free shopping day. Love the coated canvas which will keep the white areas from looking gray after a day in the city. ($175)

Sock it To Me socks

Sock It To Me makes great kids’ socks, but this time we’re eyeing this kicky black-and-white striped sock pair for us. Such a great way to wear this trend in a more subtle, peek-a-boo way. Especially if they’re peeking out the top of a pair of mid-calf boots with a shorter skirt. ($9)
