The prolific designers and TV faves Bob and Courtney Novogratz are taking their small CB2 home collection to new places. Specifically Brazil. And I want to go.
The new Novogratz Brasil collection for CB2, just launched this month, is such a funy, cheery way to brighten up your/my decidedly North American pad, at the decent prices and quality CB2 is known for. I’m loving pieces like a duo-toned credenza, a swing chair that makes me pine for a deck, and a bright fuschia punched-metal coffee table that might not be so great for homework, but is perfect for a family room that’s drowning in neutrals.
Or seriousness. Monkey lamp, anyone?
Everything is inspired by Bob and Courtney’s own Brazilian house, and you can see their style all over it. But don’t feel like you need to go crazy and redo your entire living space with everything; you can grab one of the entire sectional couches–those bright striped ones are just made to hide kid stains–or accent with a pendant lamp or one of the fabulous pillows which are just $34.95. I looove that blue one.
I really like that these pieces can fit right in with even modern urban decor, and don’t feel campy or too exotic–like one of those decorative objects you buy in a foreign market when you’re all caught up in your vacation, bring it home, and wonder what the heck you were thinking.
