I love me some red, white, and blue around Independence Day, but I’d rather not break too much of a sweat prepping for our Fourth of July festivities. It’s hot enough as it is!
So here’s a few perfectly easy, perfectly patriotic ideas for your July 4th celebration. Then all you have to do is kick back with a cool drink…and leave the fireworks to the pros. –Christina

Or grab these free printable 4th of July Soda Bottle Labels from The Idea Room and cut and paste them to any glass bottles. (Hint: IBC Root Beer looks especially patriotic, with its red-and-blue lids.)
They look drawn by hand, but don’t worry–these little watercolor flags from Oh Happy Day actually come from a printable file. Make a dozen or so flags and glue them around plain white straws (or lollipop skewers). This is a great craft that the kids can help with too.
Much easier than dealing with a complicated holiday craft, the simple 4th of July Printable Cupcake Toppers that look like a highway sign will let your guests know they’ve definitely arrived at the right house.
How many USA landmarks can your guests identify? The Decorated Cookie’s USA printable Cupcake Toppers are cute as is, or get the kids involved in coloring these cartoony drawings before inserting them into sweet treats.
Using little flat “stacker” marshmallows and two Food Writer pens, Living Locurto’s American Flag Marshmallow Pops add some edible fun to your dessert table. Love how they look on the red-and-white striped straws.
Before you hit the local Independence Day parade, grab the crayons and give the kids The Paper and the Pea’s free 4th of July Printables to color. Perfect for waving at all the floats and marching bands.
Your own Lady Liberty will make an appearance at your Fourth of July party with this adorable and free printable Statue of Liberty Crown from Paging Supermom. Can even be made into larger sizes for grown-up photo opps. (You know you want to.)
When the sun starts to fade, these Printable Sparkler Holders by Nest of Posies are just the thing for little fingers.
For little ones, Whipperberry’s printable Glow Stick Holders give them something glowy and safe to hold. Plus they make a nifty party favor to hand out as everyone heads off to see the fireworks display.
