Let’s face it: clutter happens. And I’m always looking for new ways to get our stuff (er, my kids’ stuff) organized at home. Since I don’t have a line item in our family budget for custom crates labeled toys and blocks, I’ve been using the (even better, cooler) custom labels recently introduced by one of our favorite eco-friendly stationers on the web, Paper Culture.

Like most everything in Paper Culture’s store, these tags are customizable, using their modern designs or your very own. There are all-text options or you can even use photos is which something we don’t see too often. Just drop your own photo or text into one of their existing templates, or choose a blank tag and personalize it with your own design.

So even though the tag below says HAPPY, it could just as easily say MILLIE or CELEBRATE or GRUMPY.

(Guess which one we customized.)

Each sheet of 12 stickers is $6.99 which isn’t bad for totally custom labels. Just know they’re about as thick as a standard office supply label– not flimsy, but also not as high-end as the thick, exquisite, custom cards from Paper Culture that I’ve always ordered. Still, the gift tags are printed on 100% recycled paper which I like, and they survived a 3-year-old birthday party, and that’s good enough for me.

Here’s to hoping that the WII GAMES tag now on a box by our TV will actually influence my son to put his away.

Order your own custom labels from Paper Culture just in time for spring cleaning. Find custom labels for home storage in kids and adult styles, gift tags for birthday presents, return address labels, and plenty of holiday gift tags which you do not need to be thinking about right now.
