Our dad loves to eat steak! Pick us!!
MOST favorite food would have to be steak. Or anything grilled, really.
My husband/baby-daddy LOVES shrimp and grits. If its on the menu, he orders it without question.
Ramen for the win. Can’t wait til some better bowls come closer to us. Though my stuffed grape leaves are a firm favorite too (maybe that will be his father’s day gift?).
The dad in my life would love a medium grilled juicy steak……and then maybe some crab cakes!

My husband’s favorite is steak also!!! It was my Granddaddy’s favorite when he was alive. He was a plant manager at a local packing house. We always has fresh ribeyes when he was alive. Nothing like it!
His most favorite food is last nights’ leftover grilled steak alongside some scrambled eggs, yum!

Chocolate milk. I’ve never met someone who can down as much chocolate milk as my husband can. Sometimes, when I see the Nesquik container in the pantry, I have to remind myself that I live with a 30-something father of two and not a nine year old. 🙂
My family lived in Jamaica before I was born and my dad still talks about the various spicy chicken dishes he had at roadside restaurants. Just little tiny places with a grill and not much else.

My Husband Loves A Good Steak!
Wow! I’m a mom of twins and a 5 ur old, but hands down need the perfect gift for my hubby – truely #1 dad!! The personalized artwork keychain is a win! My hubby’s favorite is creme brûlée which I make myself with real vanilla beans and a homemade vanilla bean sugar crust!
My father is away and potatoes kind of guy, but he’s not the foodie that I am! I was a baconholic before the bacon craze! Add to that the love of chocolate, coffee, scotch, and wine and life is truly complete!
Our favorite dad loves himself a good, red, juicy burger. With a side of onion rings. Mmmm!
Pork! We have been without for two years b/c we live overseas.
His favorite food is his homemade pulled pork. It is so tasty and he cooks it himself so there is pride in the meal too.
This may sound silly but my husband LOVES plain ole’ peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. However he is rather particular about it – the bread MUST be toasted and buttered (I know, ew, right?) – the peanut butter has to be chunky (Peter Pan is the preferred brand – so much for my nice homemade PB) and the jelly needs to be grape and ideally full of sugar. I think it reminds him of being a kid. Once our kiddo starts eating solids, I see a lot of bonding over PB&J happening in our house.
My dad on the other hand, loves a good glass of bourbon preferably pappy van winkle. 🙂

The hubs’ favorite is meatloaf. Which I hate, but always offer to make for his birthday and Father’s Day…he graciously (and thankfully) always declines so I don’t have to be tortured. :0)
My husband loves bacon in and on everything. Bacon makes everything better!
His favorite is anything I cook. He is an Executive Chef and works many 14 -16 hour days feeding everyone but himself. A fried egg sandwich at midnight usually hits the spot.

Rhubarb pie has always been my dad’s favorite dessert. His family always grew rhubarb in their garden on their farm in rural Southern Illinois. This was probably born of their Alsatian heritage, as that region has a fondness for rhubarb tartes.
My husband’s favorite food is pork loin or steak from a tripod swinger grill. Cooks the meat to perfection with a deliciously smoky flavor.

Here is why you should select my dad: Throughout my life there one person has always been there.
Who was there, in the front row, for every basketball game, orchestra concert and cross country meet? Who was there when I graduated high school, college and graduate school? Who was there when I had a tumor and when my boyfriend got cancer and lost his leg? Who was there when I bought my first home and my water heater broke and my roof needed replacing? Who paid for it all by working a factory for 40 years, standing on his feet, without lunch breaks? My dad has always been there. But why do I love my dad? Because he visited me when I broke my foot on Valentine’s Day, because he cleaned the lintstuff out of my hairdryer (when I didn’t even know that was possible!), because he wiped my nose when I was little, because he tolerated my friends even when they were annoying and ridiculous, because he didn’t laugh when I learned to play the violin and because he never missed a cross country or swimming meet, basketball game or recital, parent/teacher conference or any other important date. Why do I love my dad? Because he’s the best and he always finds a way to love more than I ever thought possible!
This year hasn’t been any different for him. This year is like every other. My dad is still there. Every day. For anything. For everything. Thank you, Dad.
