Handmade travel bags and accessories that get you more excited for travel.

Handmade travel bags + scarves by Hallie Gray

I have an obsession with toiletry bags and dopp kits. As in, I believe that you can’t have too many for travel. I use them for my many cords and adapters, for wayward pens and a small notepad, for toiletries of course, and even for underthings–tuck a little lavender sachet in one and fight that not-so-fresh feeling on the road. Ha. So I got all happy finding the beautiful handmade travel bags and pouches from Hallie Gray that we’re carrying at our indie shop through GREAT.LY.

They’re all hand-block printed on cotton canvas, with that essential waterproof lining. And I love that you can machine wash them, should you have a lipstick mishap on the road.

Yeah, been there.

As long as I have travel on the brain, she also makes some gorgeous gauzy cotton scarves that are perfect for stuffing in your tote or carry-on, all made with the same process and printed with non-toxic dyes. Long, flowy, and in gorgeous neutrals, a scarf plus the bag would make a really nice gift. Maybe to yourself.

After all, there are plenty of things about travel that are not so fun. (I’m looking at you, bag check fees.) I like the little things that make it sweeter.
