Finding nutritious lunch box snacks that my kids won’t toss when I’m out of eyesight can be a challenge, so I get excited when I find something our whole family likes. Our latest favorite crunchy treats are the single-serve packs of 180 Snacks’ Nut Crunch Variety Pack that fill us up with ingredients–think oven-baked nuts and cranberry– that I can feel good about feeding to my kids.

The Blueberry Pomegranate, Cranberry Pomegranate, and Cashew Crunch flavors are all delicious, and also 100% vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free and Kosher, so they can be safely enjoyed by kids and adults with varied dietary preferences and restrictions, too.

All three flavors are also peanut-free but if nut products are not allowed into your child’s school, this may be one snack that you save as an after-school treat–except for yourself, because they’re yummy enough that you might not want to wait until the kids get home.

Along with the just-sweet-enough taste, I really love that they don’t skimp on the crunch. They use both pure cane sugar and rice syrup, so the nuts come together into something akin to a broken peanut brittle. It won’t be easy for loose baby teeth to handle and might be a bit tough on braces, but for the rest of us, it is a very satisfying snack to chomp on. My only quibble is that the bag says that it holds 1.25 servings. Sorry, but I’m eating the whole thing.

180 Snacks’ Nut Crunch Variety Pack comes with 21 bags of single-serve snacks and is available at their website or your local Costco store. For even more ideas of snacks to send along to school with your kids, check out our roundups of lunchbox snacks.
