I haven’t washed mine a thousand times yet, but I’m guessing the smart design prevents those adorable purple owls or pink elephants or blue whales from fading to little amorphous blobs of color over time.
I think they’re great for layering or for cool autumn days when a quilt or flannel blanket might be a little much. Although they do make pretty lovely handmade baby quilts too for when the weather starts to turn..
Of course all the designs are on the spendy because they’re all totally handmade in India from a high-quality organic cotton. But I can admit it; it’s always nice to have someone stop you on the street, look in your stroller, and say, “wow, where did you get that cool blanket?”
