As much as I love designer bags, when I can find handbags under $100, especially when they’re hot and trendy, you might need to hide my credit card from me. It’s true, I have an obsession with bags, but thankfully, these won’t break my budget, or yours.
Here are 10 fantastic bags that I’d love to have on my shoulder for fall and winter, all under $100.
Chartres Messenger Bag by Christian LaCroix ($99 at Nordstrom)
If you’re looking to go bold for fall and winter, I’m digging the emerald of this Chartres Messenger Bag. It’s definitely on the smaller side, which makes it perfect for date nights or girls nights or days when you just want to be lighter and hands-free.
Pins and Needles Hexagon Stud Tote Bag ($59 at Urban Outfitters)
Gray is the new black, ladies, and this stud tote bag at Urban Outfitters is affordable perfection. Plus, I’m a sucker for studs. Metal studs that is. Ha.
Danielle Nicole Eva Satchel ($98 at Piperlime)
If you’re in the market for a swanky basic black bag, this is my pick. I particularly love the shape and size of this Danielle Nicole Eva satchel, which I think makes it extremely versatile. And the simple silver detail on the flap = classy.
Studded Bag ($79.90 at Zara)
I just couldn’t resist the juxtaposition of edgy studs with a pink bag. This studded bag at Zara is a bright, feminine complement to all the darker colors–okay, just black and gray, all the time–that I tend to wear in the winter.
Silence + Noise Zip-Front Moto Hobo Bag ($59 at Urban Outfitters)
I’ve been looking for a brown bag and this Moto Hobo Bag might just be the one. The long zipper pulls are a nice hat tip to the big fringe trend that I like (but don’t need covering my entire bag).
Office to Outing Bag ($59.99 at ModCloth)
I’m a huge fan of oxblood (the color, that is), especially on this Office to Outing Bag at Modcloth which looks as versatile as its name.
French Connection Elite Hobo ($98 at Nordstrom)
I tend to need a little more room than a hobo bag can offer me, but sometimes it’s good to think outside the box. Or bag. This particular hobo bag by French Connection caught my eye with its sleek–rather than slouchy–shape and the snake detail.
Leather Bucket Bag ($99.99 at Zara)
I couldn’t help but gravitate towards this pink leather bucket bag and I’m not even a pink person. I am digging how this bag takes a typically sweetsy color and makes it so cool and modern. And a leather bag under $100? Total score. (And it comes in black too).
Danielle Nicole Alexa Tote ($98 at Nordstrom)
I’m a big fan of mixing neutrals (gasp!) and this Danielle Nicole Alexa Tote does it quite well. I can imagine this bag being one I’d carry daily, easily dressed up or down.
Drawstring Bucket Bag ($69.90 at Zara)
I’ve been in search of the perfect bucket bag and this navy drawstring bucket bag takes the cake. It looks roomier than most I’ve seen, and I really like that it’s got shorter straps as I prefer to wear my bags up higher (or crossbody). And in my opinion, you can carry this long after the bucket bag trend goes away. Again.
