I love going to my local flea market or browsing the rows of antique stores downtown to score some cool vintage finds for my house. There’s just something special about furniture that has history. Or, just having furniture that doesn’t come in a flat-packed box, to be honest. But honestly, how often do any of us get to spend our weekends at swap meets after having kids? Well now you can find very cool vintage finds at Chairish, an online marketplace where you can shop all kinds of vintage furniture, decor, and even jewelry and accessories from individual sellers and boutiques across the country.
It’s been around for a while, but to be honest, it was the kind of site where you had to register with your email just to browse. Now, they’ve changed it so it’s open to anyone. And we like that!

Of course, since everything is vintage, it’s all one-of-a-kind. Most items come with a pretty hefty price tag, although you can “make an offer,” flea market style, if you want to try to haggle a little. And it’s nice to be able to shop by style, since there’s a big difference between kitschy mid-century and Chinese Cloisonné when you’re talking about antique finds.
If you’re wanting to sell some of your own vintage pieces, this could be a good option for you. Chairish doesn’t charge a fee to list an item, but they do keep 20% of the sale price. That’s a better deal than your typical consignment shop, and a lot less work than sitting on your hot sidewalk all morning at a garage sale. A definite plus for me.
