Back-to-school season is in full swing, some of us just starting this week and others already a month in. But however long your kids have been in school this year, you know how hard it can be to adjust to the new schedule — homework, activities, volunteering — the list goes on.
So we’re excited to be teaming up with Staples for a fun Twitter Social to talk about getting into the back-to-school groove and we hope you’ll be there too!
Join us on Thursday, September 10, 9pm ET sharp to chat with our editors Liz and Kristen, a few of our lovely Cool Mom Picks editors and contributors, plus the folks from Staples and our friends at Mom It Forward, all in real time.
We’ll be sharing our favorite back-to school tips and advice, answering questions, and talking about everything from crazy morning routines to homework help, even the awesome things our kids’ teachers are doing that we’re excited about.
Oh, and there will be giveaways! Seriously awesome giveaways for you, and for your kids’ classrooms. Because we know how much your teachers spend out of their own pockets on their classrooms, and we want to help make the school year easier on them, too.
To join, just show up. That’s it.
To get things going, we’ve already got a giveaway happening right now courtesy of our sponsor Staples, which you should go enter. Seriously, it’s easy. And who doesn’t need $200 to spend at Staples?
We’re also thrilled that Staples has pledged $10 million pledge to support Think It Up, a program launched by The Entertainment Industry Foundation, to inspire students to pursue their passions through student-powered, teacher-led learning projects with support from #StaplesforStudents. The projects will be crowdfunded on ThinkitUp.org which is powered by DonorsChoose.org, who we absolutely love.
Looking forwarding to seeing you on Thursday night! – Kristen + Liz
Make sure to join us on Thursday, September 10 from 9-10pm ET for our very special Twitter Social. And Tune in to the Think It Up one-hour telecast on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC on Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT.
