The exciting new Target Pillowfort collection of kids’ decor launches today at last, and has come along at just the right time. There’s something about being cooped up inside all winter that makes me want to redecorate. Every room. I’m getting bored with the same old stuff especially in my kids’ rooms, which are a mix of remnants of their nursery decor and a couple of cooler, tween-friendly pieces I’ve picked up here and there. Sadly, a full-house re-do isn’t in the budget. But some of the fresh designs in the Target Pillowfort collection might be.

From pillows to artwork, full bedding sets, accent furniture, and those cute little items that make a room more fun — it’s all affordable and adorable. Let’s just say no Dora comforters here. More like panda throw pillowsfunky wall art, and astronaut bedding our boys and girls would be thrilled to cozy up in each night.

The funky new gender neutral kids' decor from Target's new Pillowfort collection just launched!

A big thanks to Target for taking the thinking out of shopping by organizing a whopping 1,200 pieces in this bedroom decor collection into themes, like Camp Kiddo, Marvelous Manor, and Ocean Oasis to name a few. They all happen fit together without being some matchy-matchy bed-in-a-bag combo. Of course, you can pick and choose whichever pieces you want, whether it’s just a few pillows or a whole bedroom suite.

The styles range from fun and funky to sweet and ethereal. And while there are clearly some pinks and blues in there, what I think will make a lot of parents happy is the fact that most of it is pretty gender-neutral, meaning you can start with some basics and pair it with colors and existing items you own that make a room truly your kid’s own and not just some catalog page.

Honestly, I find the Target Pillowfort decor stylish enough to even work in my own bedroom, which now may be getting an upgrade too.

The new Target Pillowfort line of products is in stores and online for a limited time starting today! So be sure to check them out. Happy decorating!
