We’ve been fans of Jessica Seinfeld’s charity Baby Buggy for a long while now. For the past 15 years, they’ve provided more than 20 million essential children’s supplies to low-income families in NYC and LA, and our own editor Liz is among their “Friends” board of advisors. Now, they’ve rebranded as the the Good+ Foundation to be able to help even more families, with a broader mission.
For one of their first initiatives, right in time for Mother’s Day, they’ve teamed up with HSN to launch a line of fashionable items that may be perfect for a mom in your life. Or hey, maybe even yourself.
Because the proceeds will be used to provide essential services, gear, clothing, and support to families in need.
You’ll find a line of watercolor-y scarves, comfy wraps in jewel tones, and my favorite, affordable but very stylish handbags all under $80.
I love the understated color blocking of the Danielle Bag, which is surprisingly super roomy, and looks way more expensive than it is. In fact for faux leather, it’s pretty darn convincing!
The size of the bag made it easy to carry my laptop, a notebook, and several snacks — plus my ever-growing tinted chapstick collection. But it could easily be used as a stylish diaper bag, or a beach tote.
Knowing Jessica, we expect Good+ to be doing a whole lot of good. And all you have to do to support this amazing foundation is buy a sweet handbag for Mother’s Day? Count me in.
