Like all things Betsey Johnson, her new fall bags are just cool. And funny. And wildly over-the-top. I had the best time browsing her fall 2017 collection including these Halloween themed purses that are frighteningly wonderful.
It’s the perfect way excuse to “forget” to put together a Halloween costume when you’re out with your kids, but still get in the holiday spirit. Although I’d wear some of these bags year round. Because giving a passerby a smile? That’s always in style.

The Betsey Johnson Kitsch Webmaster Crossbody purse is the perfect option for those of you with a little goth inside, or you know, parents of kids dressed as Spiderman. I love the metallic gold, with that heart accent at the center of the web, but the best part of this purse has to be the spider. ($78, Zappos)
If you’re more of a backpack gal, Betsey Johnson’s Betsey Johnson’s Velvet Skull Backpack in pink or black is upper stratosphere cool. I mean, it’s skulls, right? This is another winner for all-year use. ($98, Zappos)
A bat bag is the purse I never knew I needed until I saw the Betsey Johnson Kitsch Going Batty Crossbody. So sleek and fabulous, right? I think it’s outrageously fun during the Halloween season (especially if you’re going as Batgirl, hint hint) though honestly, bats are creepy-cool every day of the year. ($78 but currently 30% off at Macy’s with code VIP so hurry and it’s $54.60!)
Betsey Johnson’s Kitsch Bets-O-Lantern Crossbody bag truly can’t get cuter and it’s definitely one you can pull out every September and October. I actually love this purse so much that I’m scrapping my annual Halloween pumpkin carving and instead decorating my pumpkins with glitter appliques and flirty lashes. ($98, Betsey Johnson)
If you weren’t aware, it’s pumpkin spice season. (Just kidding, we know you’re aware.) If you crave pumpkin spice lattes, then you know why I’m obsessing over this Kitsch Pumpkin Spice Latte Crossbody Bag . This purse was made for those of us that just can’t get enough. I mean, she even included the lipstick smudge on the lid! ($78, Zappos)
The Betsey Johnson Hold Please Phone Tote may not be specifically Halloween-y, but it is mindblowingly fab. Especially with that retro phone accent from the days that people who carried their phones around with them would have have been a little weird. And yes, that receiver actually works when connected to most smartphones. So if you need to make a call for a last-minute mini-Snickers delivery you’re all set. ($128, Zappos)
