coral turquoise cocktai ring
I’ve always had a thing for big crazy cocktail rings, no doubt inspired by the collection of them my Great Aunt Bea owned from the 60s and 70s. I still have some of the originals, so I always get a little chuckle when they come back in style.

[don’t miss a great discount code after the jump!]

If you don’t have the bucks for the original, I always love browsing the
crazy choices at Fantasy Jewelry Box, which is like my secret spot for affordable costume jewelry. None of these pieces are more than $50.

This Coral and turquoise cocktail ring (above) is a decent knock-of the pricy stuff in every chic department store these days. Really pretty.

red enamel + cz cocktail ring

I love the shape and styling of this red enamel dome ring
that’s lined with zig-zagy CZ stones that remind me of Shazam. In fact,
I bought it for myself; every girl needs a red ring, right?

octopus cocktail ring

I get such a kick out of this turquoise octopus ring–look
closely and he’s clutching a little fish. It will look so hip on with a
swingy summer dress or even a little black cocktail dress. (At least if
you don’t have the long French manicured claws of the model on the
site). My aunt would have loved it.

square jeweled cocktail ring

I love how this square cocktail ring
with coral and navy blue will play off of summer stripes. It kind of
makes me want to book a ticket to the Mediterranean right about now.

leopard cocktail ring

I don’t know if it’s the influence of the Real Housewives of New Jersey
or what, but in one of my favorite high-end NYC boutiques last week, all
the cute sales girls were wearing accessories like this leopard ring. So gaudy, it’s kind of awesome. Be on the lookout for more like this, this fall. Trust me. –Liz
