That’s because the limited edition Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection is inspired by the masterpieces created by the Vincent Van Gogh — and a portion of the profits will be dedicated toward preserving his art and legacy.

Launched today, the collection includes slip-ons, like the Skull shoes at the top of this post (the toddler slip-on Skulls are adorable), and lace-up sneakers like the ones above with a self-portrait Van Gogh completed in 1888.
There are high-tops too! These beautiful blue sneakers are inspired by Van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms. You can also get Almond Blossoms on a baseball cap, a bomber jacket, and a satin backpack (which just might be the kind of inspiration art-loving kids would like for back-to-school. Just sayin’).
A little like Van Gogh — who produced more than 2,000 works of art in his short 37 years — this collection will be prolific. There’s a skull hoodie, and soon, you can buy tees, hats, and other accessories.
