Every shoe lover can tell you that certain pairs are basically works of art. In the case of these new Vans, though? They are literally works of art. That’s because the limited edition Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection is inspired by the masterpieces created by the Vincent Van Gogh — and a portion of the profits will be dedicated toward preserving his art and legacy.

Also, OMG. Just look.

Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection: Vincent Van Gogh shoes

Launched today, the collection includes slip-ons, like the Skull shoes at the top of this post (the toddler slip-on Skulls are adorable), and lace-up sneakers like the ones above with a self-portrait Van Gogh completed in 1888.

The Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection: High-tops inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Almond BlossomsThere are high-tops too! These beautiful blue sneakers are inspired by Van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms. You can also get Almond Blossoms on a baseball cap, a bomber jacket, and a satin backpack (which just might be the kind of inspiration art-loving kids would like for back-to-school. Just sayin’).

A little like Van Gogh — who produced more than 2,000 works of art in his short 37 years — this collection will be prolific. There’s a skull hoodie, and soon, you can buy tees, hats, and other accessories.

Vans x Van Gogh Museum: Shoes inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's SunflowersUntil then, there are the shoes. And while we might not be painting museum-quality masterpieces of our own any time soon, putting on a pair of Vincent Van Gogh Sunflowers Vans could be the next best thing.
