Ever on the lookout for clothing and decor for girls that portrays the strong, amazing kids that they are, I was so happy to find this series of posters.

Artist Amanda Visell has created a wonderful quartet of strong girl posters with messages from I am my own captain to my favorite, I can save myself. I adore her illustration style, and so do folks who have put her talents to use on animated series like the Simpsons.

You can grab each one for $30 or if you just can’t pick among them–and I wouldn’t blame you–then you’re in luck. All four are just $100. –Liz

  1. I love seeing people promote empowering messages to young girls and in a cute way too! There are too many shirts and posters out there branding little girls as “princesses” and “barbies”. It’s great that these posters are cute enough to catch a child’s attention and remind them of their inner strength!

  2. ditto to that

  3. Love these so hard. Ordering one for my girls today!

  4. I love these! What a great message to send to our future women! And it’s not male-bashing either. I hate those “girls are better” themes. These are perfect!

  5. it’s nice to know about princesses….

  6. thanks for the support! I’m almost done with round 2.

  7. Awesome! My daughter needs this! 🙂
