I was so glad to learn last year from all of you that Iโ€™m not alone in my obsession with Biscoff cookies. You know, the ones you secretly hoard from the plane. So when I heard that theyโ€™ve now got a spread thatโ€™s made from the cookies, hello! I just had to give it a taste test.

I admit that the idea of a spread made from cookies did seem a little odd, but then I popped a spoonful into my mouth and I was completely sold. Itโ€™s not as sweet as you might imagine it would be, but itโ€™s definitely a special sugary treat and not something Iโ€™d use to replace nut buttersโ€“at least for my kids anyway.

Spread on toast, piled on a few apple slices, or scooped on ice cream and itโ€™s a pretty tasty alternative to caramel dip or Nutella. Or um, if youโ€™re like me, in addition to all of the above.

  1. I LOVE this stuff, itโ€™s one of my favorite vegan treats!

  2. We have been using this as an alternative to PB since peanut allergies run in the family. My LO loves it along with hubby.

  3. For those familiar with the european speculoos, this is the American version!!! Yum!
