Herschel Supply backpacks + Mickey Mouse add up to retro cool.

Since what’s old is new again, how are we not surprised that America’s favorite mouse is now part of a cool new collaboration with those Herschel Supply backpacks that are now favored by hipster kids everywhere. Starting today, you can find retro Mickey Mouse all over a limited edition collection of Herschel’s navy and white backpacks, pouches, and wallets.

What we really like is that this is Steamboat Willie era Mickey here.  As in, the imagery is taken from his original American and Japanese illustrations — none of that new-fangled CGI stuff. Now if only Strawberry Shortcake, Dora and My Little Pony would go back to their original looks, too.
