Yes, this celebrity-fave face peel is as good as they say it is. For a change.

GLOW soft peel from Aloisia Beauty is a new celeb favorite...and ours! Here's our honest review

Iโ€™ve been recommending Aloisia Beautyโ€™s Korean-inspired clean beauty products since they first launched. (Like, here for example!) The brand was co-created by a longtime colleague and to be honest, Iโ€™ve been so impressed by every product Iโ€™ve tried so far. Then, a thing happened: Kate Hudson posted to Instagram about their GLOW Exfoliating Soft Peel being a โ€œnew fave,โ€ Adrian Lima said she was โ€œobsessedโ€ with it and of course it blew up.

As in like, every editor from basically every beauty magazine and website has been writing about this

Not one to rely on the advice of a celebrity alone, no matter how great her skin, I gave GLOW a try myself andโ€ฆ

Spoiler: This is going to be a glowing (ha) review.

Aloisia's GLOW exfoliating soft peel: Why it's celebrity approved (they're right!)

GLOW Exfoliating Soft Peel is not exactly what I was thinking it would be โ€” itโ€™s not a gritty exfoliator, and itโ€™s not a peel-off face mask. What I should have expected from the name is that it is a โ€œsoft peelโ€ that happens to remove dead skin cells, smooth and brighten your skin, and prime it for absorbing your facial moisturizer. (Mine currently Neutrogena Hydro Boost, but I alternate with Avรจne Hydrance Rich Hydrating Cream when I need a little more moisture.)

Back to the GLOW: You just rub it onto clean skin with a few circular motions, and it balls up in little bits. Kind of likeโ€ฆrubber cement I guess?

Okay, thatโ€™s a terrible analogy because the little gel pieces are tiny and soft. But itโ€™s the only thing I could think of.

Rinse it off and really, thatโ€™s it. Now, onto the results.

Aloisia's K-Beauty GLOW soft peel is extraordinary! (And not really a peel)

I canโ€™t believe how soft โ€” and yes, glowing โ€” my skin looks and feels, and considering the process takes all of a minute, itโ€™s a score for us those of us who prefer low-maintenance skincare products.

In fact, itโ€™s so easy that you might be surprised how well itโ€™s actually getting rid of that dull outer layer of skin; you donโ€™t want to use it more than once every 3-4 days or youโ€™ll feel over-exfoliated. (Been there, donโ€™t recommend.)

As for me, my normal-to-dry, โ€œagingโ€ skin is looking pretty terrific. So Iโ€™m thrilled that bottle is so darn big. Because Iโ€™m going to be using this a long time. Me and Kate and all the other 5-star reviewers out there.

Find GLOW Exfoliating Soft Peel and other K-beauty products from Aloisia Beauty. Iโ€™m also a new fan of the Deep Hydration Aloe Gel Mist, which I keep right on my nightstand. Itโ€™s so refreshing if you run hot at night โ€” or to keep in your bag if youโ€™re beachbound.
