Let’s talk party decor! Though I don’t plan to decorate every inch of my house, I do like to have a few festive things on hand for Easter Sunday. With that, here are some of my latest favorite ideas for that big Easter party–plenty of them free downloads. –Christina
Paper Coterie’s free printable Easter Banner can be printed on plain white cardstock, cut out, and hung wherever you want an Easter message. With so many colors, it’ll go with just about any color scheme…or will add a pop of color if you’re one of those brave minimalist homes all done in white. (free)
There’s still time for me to print and prepare Todi Boutique’s entire printable Easter party decor. The vintage, hand-drawn illustrations are so pretty and not-too-childish. ($10 for printable party)
My kids would jump for this adorable Easter Bunny Garland at Happy Thought. Cute and easy to make, the bunnies have both a front and back design, and they can be strung in a line, or mounted on sticks and placed around the yard for decoration. (free)
I adore Meri Meri’s Easter partyware line which is full of bright colors, springy florals, and whimsical bunny figures. Includes themed paper goods, Easter banners, and even an egg hunt kit, though my favorite single item is this paperboard Hop to it Cake Stand. (prices from $3.95-$18.00)
I like how simple and festive these little printable Easter banners from Living Locurto would look on a dessert table. It’s a nice touch that adds a bit of personality even to that store-bought pie. (free)
Less clutter than a bunch of knick-knacks, this bright Subway Art Easter sign from eighteen25 would look great hanging in my entryway. Prints easily as an 8×10, so I can even slip it into an existing frame. (free)
Instead of blowing the budget on Easter dishes, I love the idea of brightening up my cloth napkin collection with some fresh spring colors. Ever wanted to know how to fold napkins into bunny ears for a whole lot of “awwww” at the table? Here’s your chance. Just search Etsy or your favorite linens store for loads of cloth napkin options. (instructions free; napkins vary)
Unbreakable, reusable, and totally cool, these half-dozen fabric Easter eggs from Walkerville Textiles make a great centerpiece in a basket or bowl on the table. Or, perch atop of egg cups at each place setting. ($18 for 6)
Grab a few metal cookie cutters, or search through your own collection, for some bunnies, chicks, Easter eggs, and flowers. I love how they look filled with some spring-colored treats and placed on a plate. If you don’t have enough for every dinner plate, put them only on the kids’ plates so they know where they should sit at the table. Believe me, they’ll sit where the candy is. (cost for cookie cutters and treats)
