I have a total thing for sachets. It’s easy to find scary-looking ones (hello, airport giftshops!), but when I find pretty ones that smell wonderful, I tend to stock up.
Gardenmis on Etsy is like awesome sachet central. I really love the French country sachets which are the perfect neutral, modern look to fit in any decor–not just French country. But if you look around the shop, you’ll find a lot of options from organic rose petal sachets with Emily Dickinson quotes meant to be hung over a doorknob; gorgeous purple sachets of course, filled with a lavender blend; pretty pastels; manly balsam sachets; and even dryer sachets, if you want an eco-friendly alternative to dryer sheets.
Personally, I now travel with one all the time; just tuck it into a small lingerie bag and you feel awesome even when you’re stuck in a motel-y smelling motel.
What I really dig about Gardenmis is that all sachets are scented with organic herbs, including lavender that she grows herself. And should you not see exactly what you want? The designer can create a custom order just for you.
I’m bookmarking this shop for sure. If you need to stock up for hostess gifts, or even Mother’s Day gifts for a hard to shop for grandma or mother-in-law, you may now have one more thing off your list. –Liz
