Getting my kid to keep his face mask on is a pretty tall order, but I’m hoping that introducing some new Halloween masks designed for kids will make it a little easier. I can just pass his off as a costume accessory that way, right?
I found quite a few I thought were so fun. But don’t worry, no photo-real Pennywise faces here — these designs feature characters like Charlie Brown and Baby Yoda. Who are decidedly very unscary. And okay, maybe a cartoony zombie or two thrown in just for fun.
Besides, since it feels like we’ve been experiencing Groundhog Day every day since March, I’ve found that adding a few seasonal patterns into our kids’ face mask rotation cheers me up, too.

Little or not, kids like my son still love zombies. So I’m digging this zombie Halloween mask for kids at Visionary Creation Co. that isn’t too frightening and can still be worn to school. Just no biting, kids.
For true classic Halloween, motifs, check out this Halloween spiderweb face mask for kids and the black cat Halloween face mask for kids, both from LaEsme in Austin. It’s a brand new shop on Etsy, but her designs look absolutely adorable.
This dracula teeth Halloween mask for kids from Honey and Penny Designs is so classic. And I know my own son will be personally stoked about having a completely valid reason to wear fangs to class — or at least ones that the other kids can see. You know, since he’s got a mask on.
If you haven’t noticed already, we can’t get enough of Baby Yoda. So naturally I was drawn to this Baby Yoda Halloween mask at Creation by Aris. I’m expecting tons of Mandalorian costumes this year, so this should be very on-brand for Halloween 2020.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Or technically it’s just a very sweet Charlie Brown Halloween mask for kids with fabric from the iconic animated special. Get your own nostalgia fix at Originally by Ginny Etsy shop.
If you can’t eat them, wear them! Or at least that’s my philosophy when it comes to this slightly-gross-but-very-cute-as-decoration candy. (So sue me, I’m not on team candy corn!) Score your own candy corn Halloween mask at Masks Design Co that would be cute on even the littlest trick-or-treater.
