It’s been a while since I’ve found a designer diaper bag that made me wish for a do-over on the diaper bags I carried during my own early stroller-pushing days. And now, here are three from one of my favorite designers.
While Marc Jacobs may not know nothin’ about birthing no babies, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Eliz-a Baby Bag shows he still has it when it comes to chic accessories. The quilted nylon bag looks luxe in wearable taupe or black, whether or not anyone realizes there’s a changing pad in there, or a bottle in one of the exterior pockets. I also really like the white on black mini marelka pattern, should you be looking for something with a little more oomph.
It’s great that the sturdy webbed shoulder strap unhooks easily should you be hanging it from your stroller instead of your shoulder. And of course I love that it’s easy to clean inside and out. Because while the fashionista set may not be dealing with soggy Cheerios in their designer bags, the fashionista mom set sure is. Not that there’s any choice. –Liz
