There are more “mom” websites and social networking sites popping up than we can shake a BPA-free baby bottle at. And who can blame them? We are collectively awesome, thus everyone wants us to grace them with our virtual presence.
One of the more promising sites is The Cradle, which for starters, looks a lot better than your average parenting site. As in, fewer cheesy stock photos of moms with too-white teeth hugging “their” babies, more relevant lifestyle kind of content. While they’re just ramping up, so far we’ve caught a section on eco-friendly nurseries, expert advice like kids room decorating tips from the designer behind Serena & Lily bedding, and even the rare section just for dads-to-be.
They’ve also got the requisite message boards, along with technology that allow you to create your own web page and pregnancy blog.
To celebrate their launch, The Cradle is offering up all kinds of the stuff we love via a super holiday giveaway. There’s a Bugaboo stroller, a Svan high chair, Cariboo nursery furniture, and even a survival pack from our buds at Mommy Track’d, all if you register with The Cradle before 12/20.
