I promise Sean Connery isn’t involved in this elite nanny placement service we just discovered. So that’s one point in its favor, right? There are a few more too, especially if you’re looking for extensively screened, college educated nannies who have a list of qualifications a league long.

The Nanny League
is pretty incredible in fact, in terms of screening and tracking down fantastic candidates. We’re
talking CPR training, good swimmers, non-smokers, confidentiality
agreements, and signing a no-cell-while-driving guarantee, not to
mention background checks, drug tests, and reference reviews.

There is
no placement fee, but The Nanny League is so confident about finding you a good fit, they guarantee it, and then receive 18% of the nanny’s
yearly salary as payment. If it doesn’t work out, they will go through the
process all over again and provide a new nanny at no cost. That’s a much
better exchange policy than most of the department stores I shop.

For
right now, The Nanny League is only available in the Los Angeles area,
but founder Lindsay Aspell has plans to expand
nationally in the next few years and we’re looking forward to it. I’ve had so much trouble finding a
decent bookshelf on Craigslist that I can’t imagine what it would be
like to search for a quality and trustworthy childcare provider should I need one. ~Delilah
