I still remember the moment I found the perfect little purple striped cotton girls dress from Petit Bateau. It was a splurge for sure. But I was pregnant with #2, and knew I’d get a whole lot of use out of it two times around. (You can even see it on my daughter on my post about Gap skinny jeans.)
I hate to say it, but I think our time together is done. That 18mo dress served me well, going from one daughter to the next, from a dress to a tunic with rolled-up sleeves over jeans. RIP. I hope it won’t be miffed that I’ve found another to replace it.

The purple striped play dress
