    I love the idea of preserving a special place via artwork and supporting a craftsman in the process. My in-laws designed their own house and have been living in it for 30+ years. I’d love to have one made for them for whenever they downsize in the next few years, as well as one of our house when my husband and I approach that time of our lives.

    Love, love your holiday gift guide. I used it to buy at least a half dozen presents for various friends and family members this year. And it helped me get our newborn outfitted for both Hanukkah and Christmas with just a few clicks. Whew!

    This was a tough one for me! I’m “dying” to own so many baby/toddler related things at the moment(I have one 15 month old and a baby on the way). But I had to pick this toy organizer. We are in a small apartment at the moment and our toys and kid’s books are shoved into one basket in the corner of the living room. I would love love love to have somewhere to store everything!

    Happy birthday and congratulations on the 5 year milestone! I love SO many of your posts, but the one about the FAMILY MANIFESTO print really stuck with me because I thought it was wonderful to set out core family values in writing and be reminded of them in such an artistic way each day. I even contacted Aardvark for a pricing but it was a little steep for a personal commissioned one. We may still do it some day. But it got me to write down what we as a family cherish.

    My husband was on a fishing kick this past summer and consequently my 1.5 y.o. daughter would ask him if he was going fishing EVERYTIME he left the house. I got her this for her birthday and she AND her daddy love to play with it together. Even his fishing buddies were jealous. It’s a beautiful toy and I think it’s going to be one of those things that will last and she can pass it down to her children.

    Every Jan/Feb when it gets too cold in Chicago, husband and I think about a warm vacation spot just to keep our sanity. We’ve looked into Azul way too many times to count but our dates and finances never seem to jive and we have yet to pull off a vacation with the kids somewhere warm, relaxing and let’s face it, just out of the Chicago cold.

    I totally covet this diaper bag that you featured from So Young Mother. I am getting ready for child #2 and hated every diaper bag I had for child #1. I have to admit, the prices scares me a bit but considering I bought multiple bags that didn’t work before, it’s probably worth it to spend more on a bag that I’ll like this time.

    ever since the original post about this bag, i was intrigued. used to sneak peeks at her site all the time, even ordered a clutch to see if i liked the materials used (i did), but still had a hard time justifying the expense of the larger bag (even though i’m sure it would be fabulous, other stuff keeps getting in the way)…and then when it was announced the design could be done w/more pockets, etc. as a diaper bag, then i *really* wanted one! just can never decided which color combo! And now there is a mini-version too…one of these days….

    I live in a small town and unfortunately I have not found a place to go to try on a variety of nursing bras in order to get one that fits. I would give anything for a slightly sexier bra that fits well and doesn’t make me feel like a frumpy milk factory – especially since I’ll be having my second kid early April.

    I LOVE RED! I remember seeing this post seeing that ring and thinking I NEED that ring…RED..it was filled with one of my fav colors. I think red is a universal color so even though this post was meant for fall it still has me wanting anything and everything RED!!

    I am a bag-oholic and since having my son, the option of carrying a purse is no longer there. My diaper bag is my new friend and therefore I am obsessive about finding new diaper bags. I have to say that I LOVE this one!

    With Two kids, I have so much that I need to carry, hold, store, make sure i have…etc.. i need a diaper bag for my daughter, and a purse for myself.. With carrying her carseat, and holding my four year olds hand.. i just cannot have both.. So having something that is adorable but serves more then one purpose is a MUST HAVE… but havnt gotten yet hehe..

    When i was nursing my first baby, i was clueless about nursing bras and ended up getting some super cheesy, cheap ones from Walmart and because i was a new mom, never found the time to go buy replacement better ones. This time around, I’m going to try really hard to pick up a couple of these babies!!
