Gifts for new dads - Father's Day Gift Guide

This roundup of awesome gifts for new dads is the second in our Father’s Day Gift Guide series brought to you by the wonderful folks at Dove Men+Care. The perfect b+w of Daddy and the new baby in a great frame is always a classic First Father's Day gift. We happen to love this upcycled tin ceiling picture frame in your choice of red or blue. ($45 at Uncommon Goods)   We love this clever My Dad Rocks baby tee or onesie that continues "...and feeds and changes." Pick from five different styles, and 13 colors, dress the baby in it, and get an awesome picture. ($20 at sandbox threads) We imagine he'll appreciate this stylish Black Pinstripe Diaper Bag, new from Diaper Dude. Especially if your other one is pink and floral. ($65 at Diaper Dude) Anything that says "dad" on it in that first year can be wonderfully sentimental. We like this sterling personalized tie clip "from the baby."  Although is anyone really naming their babies Jen anymore? ($59.99 from Alicia Argentis) Build his bedtime reading library with classic board books "from the baby" like Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me by Eric Carle. You might also toss in Sandra's Boynton's The Going to Bed Book--he'll need it. ($7.91, $5.99 at our affiliate Amazon, or from your local bookstore) Prepare a gadget-loving new dad for the barrage of camera phone photos he'll amass with this very cool if splurgey iPhone Photo Printer. The cartridges are another $24.99 each, but replace both photo paper and ink cartridges. ($159.99 at Hammacher-Schlemmer with free standard shipping) This personalized new dad photo art print allows you to change the name and the adjective, whether Bob has the smartest baby in town, or Jeffrey has the coolest baby in town. It will look awesome over a desk or you know, taped to Dad's chest for life. ($15 from Happytown USA or $12 for 5x7) We're pretty picky about our Daddy and Me sets, but how could this one not make him smile, first thing Sunday morning? Make sure you have the camera ready. ($38.50 from Zoe's Attic) Thanks to our sponsor Dove Men+Care which celebrates men who are comfortable in their own skin, and make their families a priority. (We love that!)
